Paneer Peas Pulao | Cottage Cheese Peas Rice

Paneer Peas Pulao is an easy one pot comfort meal.

Paneer Peas Pulao
  1. Soak basmati rice in 1.5 cup water for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan, add 1 tsp butter. Spread it around the pan and fry the paneer till they are brown. Keep it aside once it's done.
  3. In same pan heat ½ tsp oil, sauté cumin, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves. cinnamon & green chillies.
  4. Then add onions and sauté till translucent.
  5. Then add the Ginger garlic paste. Sauté until intense smell of ginger garlic paste is gone.
  6. Add green peas and fry for few minutes & then add mint and coriander leaves.
  7. Add water (approx. 1.5 cup) which is used to soak basmati rice, wait until it comes to boil and add salt as required.
  8. Rice needs to be added now and close the pan with lid, let it cook in low flame for 15 minutes.
  9. After 15 min let it cool for 10 min and later add fried paneer cubes, mix gently.
  10. Serve with your favourite spicy gravy.
