Mosappu | Mashed Greens Curry

Mosappu saaru is a curry prepared using assorted leafy greens & lentils. Mosappu in kannada means “Masida soppu” which translates to mashed greens. Combination of greens & lentils makes this dish very tasty & nutritious. Mosappu can be prepared using mixture of greens or with one type green leaf. At home we prepare this dish either using Dantina soppu or mixture of Chilakarave & Mentya soppu. Ragi Mudde & Mosappu is a very popular combination in southern parts of Karnataka.
