  1. Rinse & soak Avalakki/Poha for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add Channa dal, Urad dal & ground nut. Fry until dal turns brown.
  3. Add curry leaves & green chillies, sauté for few seconds.
  4. Now add Onions & fry until its translucent.
  5. Add turmeric powder & salt, mix everything well.
  6. Drain the excess water from soaked Avalakki/poha & add it to pan.
  7. Mix well close the lid and cook the poha for 3-4 minutes under medium flame.
  8. After 4 minutes, add coriander leaves & grated coconut to Avalakki/poha. Give a quick mix and remove from the heat.
  9. Lastly squeeze juice from a small lemon & add it to Avalakki/Poha. Mix Gently.
  10. Serve with coconut chutney.
